Power to Break the Chains of Oppression

Exhortation:

In our journey of faith, we encounter spiritual battles that seek to bind us in chains of oppression. These chains can be in the form of sin, generational curses, demonic strongholds, or even discouragement. However, the Word of God assures us that through the power of the Holy Spirit, we have been given victory over every form of oppression.

 

Isaiah 10:27 says, _”And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”_ This anointing—the power of God—breaks every chain of oppression and sets us free. We must trust in God’s power, speak life over our situations, and take a stand against anything that seeks to bind us.

Confession:

I declare today that I am free from every chain of oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. Every power that has held me captive is broken by the authority of the Holy Spirit. The yoke of bondage is destroyed because of the anointing of God that rests upon me. I am victorious, I am an overcomer, and I walk in the liberty that Christ has given me. I stand in the power of His resurrection and declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I am free to fulfill God’s purpose for my life.

This is the promise of the anointing upon Jesus Christ, and through Him, we have the same power to break free from oppression.
