50 MFM Prayer Points for Lay Elder/Deacon

50 MFM Prayer Points for Lay Elder/Deacon:

Biblical Exhortation:

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”1 (Matthew 5:16, KJV)

As Lay Elders and Deacons, your lives are visible examples within the church and the wider community. Let your actions be a testament to God’s love and truth, inspiring others to seek Him. Walk in humility, serve with joy, and let the fruit of the Spirit be evident in all you do.

Bible Confession:

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” (Philippians 4:13, KJV)

Heavenly Father, I confess that on my own, I am limited. But I declare by faith that through Jesus Christ, who empowers me, I am able to fulfill every assignment and overcome every challenge You place before me as a Lay Elder/Deacon. I receive Your strength and grace to serve You faithfully. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Scripture Reading:

1 Timothy 3:8-13 (KJV)

“Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;2 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience. And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the3 faith which is in Christ4 Jesus.”

Praise and Worship:

(This is a suggestion; you can choose any songs or expressions of praise that resonate with you)

Let us lift our voices and hearts in praise to our God. Let us thank Him for His faithfulness, His love, and His provision. Let us worship Him for His holiness and His power. Let us declare His goodness and sing praises to His name.

(Pause for personal expressions of praise and worship, songs, or quiet reflection)

Father, we thank You for this day and for Your presence in our lives. We magnify Your holy name and give You all the glory, honor, and adoration. You are worthy of all praise. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
