Exhortation:

Hey there! Ever feel like you’re just going through the motions? Like things that used to fire you up now just leave you…meh? That’s the spirit of indifference creeping in. It’s like a wet blanket on your passion, a fog that dims your spiritual vision. But guess what? God didn’t create you to be lukewarm! He wants you ablaze with purpose and zeal. Today’s about shaking off that apathy and reigniting your fire for Him. Let’s get after it!

Confession:

Heavenly Father, we come before you today acknowledging the times we’ve allowed indifference to take root in our hearts. We confess that we haven’t always been as passionate for you and your kingdom as we should be. There have been moments where we’ve been complacent, unconcerned, and apathetic towards the things that matter most to you. Forgive us, Lord, for allowing this spirit to dull our senses and hinder our spiritual growth. We turn away from this indifference now and ask for your help to cultivate a heart that is fully alive and engaged with your will. In Jesus name, Amen.

Scripture Reading:

Revelation 3:15-16 (NKJV): “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm,¹ and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”²

Think about that for a moment. God isn’t looking for lukewarm followers. He desires hearts that are fully surrendered and passionately devoted to Him. This scripture is a wake-up call to shake off any spiritual apathy.
