Deliverance from Lust and Impurity

Lust and impurity are strongholds that can entrap a person and hinder their spiritual growth. The Bible teaches us that the flesh is weak, but the Spirit is willing (Matthew 26:41). This is why we must rely on God’s power and grace to overcome the temptations of the flesh. Our minds and hearts need to be constantly renewed in Christ, and only through His strength can we break free from the chains of lust. By surrendering our will to God and seeking His holiness, we open ourselves to His deliverance and transformation.

The word of God assures us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

Be encouraged that God’s grace is sufficient, His mercy is abundant, and His power is greater than any sin or temptation. It is not by our might, but by His Spirit that we are able to live in victory over lust and impurity.

1. I confess that I am a new creation in Christ Jesus, and all things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).
2. I confess that I am delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s Son (Colossians 1:13).
